Kelly Services is currently seeking an Associate Clinical Research Scientist to work a contract for one of our top clients. Overview:

This entry-level professional will be responsible for assisting Clinical Research Leaders in the management of the clinical portfolio for the designated client Operating Company including clinical study management and deliverable associated with new product development. S/he will manage activities with supervision consistent with level of experience. S/he will be responsible for providing support activities for clinical study activities & other study-related plans, as well as applicable department study-related procedures.

  • Assist Research Leaders with clinical research activities and portfolio management.

  • Complete required templates and documents, and maintain records related to assigned projects.

  • Create and maintain files and spreadsheets to track activities. Communicate progress towards planned timelines.

  • Work with Franchise Clinical Operations, Biostatistics and Data Management, and other functions to assist with study development and progress.

  • Work with cross-functional new product development teams to meet clinical deliverables

  • Assist in the development of materials used by Clinical Operations for study execution (Investigator Brochures, training materials, etc.).

  • Maintain and file study related documentation.

  • Will manage components of studies or clinical projects with supervision.

  • Will assist other Operating Company clinical staff with assigned sub-project tasks.

Administrative Activities

  • Know, understand, incorporate, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to client business activities, and Policies and Procedures of the Health Care Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Education:

  • BS/BA or equivalent, preferably in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field is required.

  • Certification from a recognized professional organization (i.e., CCRA, RAC, CDE) is desirable.

Experience

  • BS or Master’s with 2 years experience.

  • Clinical Research experience required

  • Project Management experience required

  • Previous medical device or research experience preferred.

Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of research principles and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

  • Application of scientific research principles.

  • Strong written/oral/PowerPoint capabilities

Demonstrated competencies in the following areas are required:

  • Presentation skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
