General Description: Provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients of Parkview Health. Services include, but are not limited to, oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing, and proper documentation of patient medication therapy, as well as advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned hospital locations and providing drug information, patient information, and oversight of information and dispensing processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will have excellent "people skills" and promote a virtuous culture of teamwork among and between the pharmacists and technician staff. This person will have excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills. Overseeing day-to-day inpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring excellent customer service and participating in and ensuring appropriate training of new staff members in inpatient operations will be key functions. The candidate will need to be comfortable with autonomy, able to self-motivate, able to handle conflict management, willing to actively learn new concepts and take on extra projects as needed.

Position Requirements: Must have a BS, MS, or PharmD degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy. PGY1 Residency Trained or equivalent experience. Pharmacist licensure in Indiana is required. Candidates must have a high level of clinical practice skills, enthusiasm for teaching, and the interpersonal skills needed to interact effectively with students, health professionals and patients. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
