Job Duties:

1.Makes a great first impression and works well independently and as a team player.

2.Greets and educates patient. Obtains, reviews, implements pertinent patient history, physician examination, and supporting clinical data to facilitate diagnostic results.

3.Performs all echo and vascular procedures according to department protocols. these studies include Renal Dopplers, Carotid Dopplers, Arterial Duplexes (lower and upper), PVRs (lower and upper), Venous Insufficiencies, DVT (lower and upper), AAAs, and Vein Ablations, and echocardiograms.

4.Produces, assesses, and evaluates ultrasound images and related data that are used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis following practice standards and practices.

5.Utilizes Imaging Software and follows protocols to prepare a preliminary report for the interpreting physician.

6.Assists the supervisor with the care and maintenance of equipment and report malfunctions and repairs to the supervisor. Will coordinate with the department lead to arrange for repair and maintenance of imaging equipment when appropriate.

7.Demonstrates knowledge of sterile technique and applies to procedure when indicated.

8.Assists with maintenance of facility IAC accreditation.

9.Performs other duties as required.


1.Strongly prefer one year of experience.

2.Current licensure by ARDMS and/or CCI, or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.

3.BLS level of CPR certification is required.

4.Excellent interpersonal communication skills and team attitude.

5.Physical lifting of at least 50 lbs.
