Union Hospital REVENUE CYCLE SYST ANALYST II-PATIENT ACCOUNT SERVICES in TERRE HAUTE, Indiana

Position is responsible for assisting in creating efficiencies and maximizing revenue cycle performance by working closely with all levels of management in Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Information Systems. Position will be supporting both Facility billing and Professional billing staff with various tools for their workflow.

  • Keeps current all documentation for Revenue Cycle system changes, updates, etc.

  • Performs projects and analysis when requested by director.

  • Experience with Hospital Revenue Cycle/Ambulatory Revenue Cycle; Insurance Eligibility, auths/certs, registration, coding, charging, and billing is preferred but not required.

  • Prior experience with; Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS, SSRS/Power BI, VBA, X12 EDI formats(837/835) preferred.

  • Position will oversee various Revenue Cycle Applications; TRAC and ONTRAC, eCareCMS, FACS(Ontario Systems), athenahealth-Centricity Practice Management, Visualutions, Orchard(lab).

  • Will perform Doctor Master, PRM, and CDM Maintenance when requested by management.

  • Prepares policy and procedure documents as instructed by System Director.

  • Works closely with vendors to ensure departmental needs are met.

  • Plans, organizes, and conducts in-service training as instructed by the System Director to provide education on system application and departmental procedures.

  • Courteous telephone manner and interpersonal softskills are a must.

  • Flexible work schedule as required to meet departmental needs.

  • Good grasp of standard written and verbal communication, accomplished at basic business math.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the System Director.

Requirements:

Three (3) years' experience in Patient Accounts Systems Applications and Accounts Receivable experience.
