Responsibilities include:

• Assist our Doctors of Optometry by performing various pre-exam and exam elements

• Administer OCTs, visual fields, fundus photos, and other ophthalmic tests

• Assisting with general front office operations: answering the phone, check-in, check-out, and pretesting patients

• All things insurance: verifying eligibility, answers questions, and authorizing benefits

• Completing training to advance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Previous ophthalmic or optometric tech experience is a big plus

• Previous medical experience is a plus

• A positive attitude and a willingness to strive for excellence

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to work evenings 2 days per week and Saturdays

• Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus
