Utilizing the nursing process, the staff nurse is responsible for providing the immediate and short-term nursing care needs and planning for the long-term nursing care needs of patients according to the Indiana Nurse Practice Act and established Scott Memorial Health nursing policies, procedures and standards.
Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
Required Experience: BLS**required and AACN certification encouraged
Licensure:Registered nurse in the State of Indiana
Equipment:Computer, telephone, and patient care equipment as specified on nursing units.
