PRN - Days and Hours Vary
Contributes to the efficient operation of the surgical suite. Responsible for having instruments and equipment on the sterile field in anticipation of the surgeon’s needs for each patient. Works primarily with adult surgical patients.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience: Graduate of an approved technician program; certification preferred.
Licensure: Certified Scrub Technician (preferred), BLS
Skills: Excellent communication skills, demonstrates thorough knowledge of instruments used and procedures.
