The Speech Language Pathologist:
Performs initial speech therapy evaluation and direct speech therapy treatments according to thephysician’s plan of treatment. Establishes and updates the speech therapy plan of treatment.
Reports changes in patient condition to appropriate personnel and the attending physician. Providespatient care education to clients and other caregivers. Participates in coordination of services withother disciplines and community resources as needed.
Completes and submits all required documentation in a timely manner.
Demonstrates sensitivity to patient and/or family needs, customs or feelings.
Participates in case conferences, summary reports, quarterly record review and annual programreview. Attends in-services or special case orientations.
Currently licensed to practice in the state serviced.ASHA certificate of clinical competence.
Must obtain and maintaincurrent CPR Certification (all locations).
One-year speech therapy experience in a clinical setting required.
