Pharmacy Technician - Vaccine Clinic - PRN

This role will be working in our Carmel location.

Ascension is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team and support the administration of the COVID vaccine. The primary responsibility of this role is to draw up vaccine doses and transport to clinics. This role will be embedded in the acute care pharmacy team and will need to serve as a full functioning pharmacy technician for the hospital location.

What You Will Do

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.

• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.

• Repackage bulk medications.

• Receive and store incoming supplies.

• Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
