Job Details:The EEG Technician is knowledgeable of acquiring routine and complex EEGs in a variety of settings that include, but not limited to, critical care areas and neonatal ICU. The EEG Technician works under the direct supervision of the departmental supervisor, in accordance with the Administrative Director and the Medical Director. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Successful completion of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology programanda minimum of one year experience in electroneurodiagnostics preferredComply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issuesPerform routine and complex equipment care and maintenanceMaintain current CPR or BCLS certificationDemonstrate effective written and communication skillsDemonstrate appropriate social skillsDemonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policyComply with the ASET Standards of ConductParticipate in educational programs and in services meetings as required by lab standards
