Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana Health Info Analyst in Munster, Indiana

Preps health records and loose material for scanning purposes. Performs concurrent scanning and indexing. Scans and indexes discharged records. Verify with computer generated discharge list that all charts were received in Health Information Management and scans additional documents that were not previously scanned and indexed.

To qualify you must have:

+ + High School graduate or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 6 months clerical experience preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • Ability to perform basic clerical functions.

  • Must be familiar with medical terminology.

  • Must have strong communication and organization skills; detail-oriented.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Must be able to work weekend and holiday rotation, accepts on-call as needed.
