Sign-On Bonus for eligible, experienced RN’s!Location This position is located on the south side of Indianapolis.Duties The Triage Registered Nurse functions as a member of the physician practice team. The Triage RN duties include taking incoming and outgoing triage phone calls from patients, scheduling appointments, contacting patients with lab and test results and providing patient education. Coordinating patient care, communicating with patients, their families and internal and external physician, hospital and healthcare agencies. Assisting physician in completing patient medical forms. The Triage RN will rarely provide face-to-face patient care. Experience Cardiology experience preferred. Previous medical office experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred.Education Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program, or three years related professional nursing experience. LicenseCurrent Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.Skills Excellent communication skills; excellent team skills; compassionate and caring; accountable; self-directed. Able to prioritize medial emergency phone calls, explain lab/test results, and communicate effectively within the patients level of understanding.
