Where you fit in

The Senior Patient Care Technician will be responsible for:

• Performing some or all of basicpatient care needs such as, bathing, feeding, vitals, activities of dailyliving, transportation of patients, discontinue IV, Phlebotomy, Accucheck,catheter care, clean dressing changes, and restraints

• Exposure to blood and bodyfluids is possible

• Any additional unit basedduties

Yourexceptional qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

• Ability to use a computer fordocumentation and work related purposes

• Strong written, verbal andnonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills arerequired.

• Demonstrates accountability forown actions

• Provides service in a willingand courteous manner

• Demonstrates ability toprioritize, organize and multi-task.

• Able to take direction well,but also be self-directed and motivated.

• Requires a high degree ofresponsibility and responsiveness.

• Deal effectively with patients,visitors, situations, and other Care Team members, while maintainingemotional control

Additionalrequirements

• Must be able to lift

• Must be available for one weekof full-time training

• Three (3) months of Clinical Experience required OR currently enrolled in Nursing school
