Where you fit in
The Senior Patient Care Technician will be responsible for:
Performing some or all of basicpatient care needs such as, bathing, feeding, vitals, activities of dailyliving, transportation of patients, discontinue IV, Phlebotomy, Accucheck,catheter care, clean dressing changes, and restraints
Exposure to blood and bodyfluids is possible
Any additional unit basedduties
Yourexceptional qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Ability to use a computer fordocumentation and work related purposes
Strong written, verbal andnonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills arerequired.
Demonstrates accountability forown actions
Provides service in a willingand courteous manner
Demonstrates ability toprioritize, organize and multi-task.
Able to take direction well,but also be self-directed and motivated.
Requires a high degree ofresponsibility and responsiveness.
Deal effectively with patients,visitors, situations, and other Care Team members, while maintainingemotional control
Additionalrequirements
Must be able to lift
Must be available for one weekof full-time training
Three (3) months of Clinical Experience required OR currently enrolled in Nursing school
