Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Surgical Oncology

St Vincent Indianapolis

Full Time - Days

Shift Details: 3/12 hour shifts. 7A - 7:30P. Rotating every 3rd Weekends.

Requirements: Patient Care experience preferred (CNA, Home Health Aide, etc). Interest working in a hospital setting, passion for helping.

What You Will Do

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.

• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.

• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
