Patient Care Technicians assist with daily patient living activities and are responsible for basic patient care needs, such as bathing, feeding, vitals, and sometimes even coordinating the transportation of patients within the facility.Patient Care Technicians are the bedrock of which healthcare is delivered.At Community, Patient Care Technicians thrive on adaptation, choosing to work through and solve problems, while respectfully addressing interpersonal conflicts they may encounter on the way.   • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Demonstrates a learning attitude toward solving problems

  • Follows directions and instructions

  • Basic math and reading skills

  • Positive interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers

  • Ability to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes

  • Maintains attendance and punctuality standards

Additional Information

  • Exposure to blood and body fluids is possible

  • Any additional unit based duties

  • Must be able to life 25 lbs or more in some cases

  • Must be available for one week of full-time training
