Where will I be located?
We have several Master Level Outpatient opportunities that work on our main residential campus, located at 6067 Decatur Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46241. We also have a Master Level Outpatient opportunity that is primarily home based with a shared office space they can use at our Damar Community Living and Support Services Building which is located at 5125 Decatur Boulevard Suite B, Indianapolis, IN 46241.

Damar Services has four remarkable Outpatient Master Level positions that provide services to our clients.
An Intensive Behavioral Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing direct behavior management consultation services to clients, staff members, and family members. These services include client observation, the development and documentation of specific behavior management plans, direct intervention with clients, education and training for staff, and service coordination, among others.
A Behavior Management Level II Provider is responsible for providing direct behavior management consultation services to clients, staff members, and family members. These services include client observation, the development and documentation of specific behavior management plans, direct intervention with clients, education and training for staff, crisis intervention, and service coordination, among others.
An Outpatient Counselor is responsible for a variety of duties related to case development, treatment plan development and implementation, and crisis intervention in individual treatment of clients. The incumbent is responsible for providing individual and family therapy, group support, crisis intervention, as well as other support services to assigned clients. Additionally, the SAT/CNPCC Outpatient Counselor will assists the treatment team, including the Director of Intensive Behavioral Intervention Services, Stabilization and Treatment team, Outpatient team, and other members as designated, in the evaluation of clinical services.
A Behavior Clinician consistently exercises discretion and judgment to analyze, interpret, make deductions, and then decide what actions are necessary based on the varying facts and circumstances of each individual case. A Behavior Clinician works without daily and immediate supervision, evaluating possible courses of conduct and making decisions where there is no opportunity to seek supervisory assistance. A Behavior Clinician works with the client on a day to day basis using professional judgment and discretion to implement the team determined treatment plan.

What you need to be considered…
Master’s degree required preferably in social work, psychology, counseling or applicable discipline.
License eligibility preferred.
Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
Must meet and maintain background screening requirements of program(s) assigned to.
No felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
