Ascension Health CT Technologist, St. Vincent Imaging Department, Full-time, W-Th-F, 7p.m.-7a.m. in Indianapolis, Indiana

We Are Hiring

As a CT Technologist at Ascension|St. Vincent we are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for the Indianapolis Hospital. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work well as part of a close knit efficiency driven CT team. Looking for candidate that maintains a strong positive attitude, demonstrates excellent behaviors and high level of critical thinking skills.

Full-time: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7pm - 7am (Overnights)

What You Will Do

Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

  • Observe patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.

  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

  • One or more of the following required:

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
