We Are Hiring
Ascension St. Vincent is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our elite critical care team with cross coverage at Seton Speciality Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital. Hours are from Monday to Friday with 6-7 hour days and hours that rotate between 7am to 7 pm as the NP/PA is part of the hospital coverage. The position also has a weekend commitmentn which is every 3rd weekend (gets Thursday and Friday are off after the weekend).

What You Will Do
In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions.
Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunization and patient care.
Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required:
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the National Certification Corporation (NCC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
