First batter up: we are hiring a seasoned Executive Director for our Assisted Living Community.

In this role you are the Coach of the community. You are responsible to select and support an All Star management team whose members address the needs and the satisfaction of our senior Resident population. You and your Team must lead by example, and demonstrate dedication to our mission. You must have a proven ability to work with families and Residents to achieve the balance of quality of life and business objectives.
Requirements for our Coach/Executive Director
· Licensed Administrator in Indiana with an HFA or RCA license
· Experience in a Resident Care Facility
· At least two years of related work experience must be of manager capacity. Affordable Assisted living experience highly preferred.
· Start up experience of a new community is desirable
· Experience working with older adults in senior living, senior Veterans and/or their spouses, long-term care, home health or other healthcare settings.
· Experience hitting fast balls and curve balls and achieving Resident Satisfaction
· Experience keeping the bases full to serve as many seniors as possible
· Willing to go the extra innings to ensure high quality affordable services for Seniors.

Essential Position Functions
The Administrator must be familiar with each staff member’s job classification and associated duties. He/she will coordinate the facility’s quality assurance program and establish systems to monitor staff compliance to resident care policies and procedures.The Administrator must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and budgets; establish an accurate accounting system to control expenses for all departments; calculate and process payroll information for all facility employees; and monitor accounts receivable reports for billing and collection purposes.The Administrator is responsible for all aspects of personnel administration, staff compliance with established personnel policies and procedures, and supervision of department heads and key support staff. This includes the development of recruitment and retention programs to insure each department has sufficient quantity and quality of staff to fulfill departmental objectives. Coordinates facility safety program.The Administrator is responsible for establishing and maintaining public relations and census development programs for the facility. He/she must insure the facility meets/exceeds budgeted census levels by marketing the facility’s services to current and potential referral sources in the community. As a representative of Gardant Management and the facility, the Administrator is expected to participate in their community’s civic organizations and area events.
