Job Location

The Denial Resolution Specialist position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Duties

This position is responsible for all activities related to resolving and appealing claim denials received from third party payers.


Two or more years experience in a hospital or physician healthcare claims collections or billing within a medium to large healthcare system.


High School diploma or GED equivalent.


  • Demonstrates knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills

  • Medical Terminology

  • Communication Skills

  • Time Management Skills

  • Must be detailed oriented

  • Supports an environment of team work

  • Clear understanding and working knowledge of payer denials and appeals process

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a cross –functional team environment by collaborating with others and shrilling tools, skills and knowledge

  • Solid problem-solving and analysis skills that demonstrate resourcefulness and attention to detail
