Job Description

Job Summary:

The Security Manager manages the daily operations of the security department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assigns responsibilities and tasks to support department function.

  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and policies/procedures.

  • Monitors and follows up on customer complaints and investigations.

  • Manages and coaches staff. Directs, prioritizes and makes daily adjustments to shift assignments and security deployment as necessary.

  • Assists the Director of Security with developing both operational and capital budgets.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Preferred Credential(s):

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

  • Drivers License credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

  • Security Guard.

Education:

  • Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field, or combination of High School degree and related experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Work Experience:

  • 2 Years Required Technical Experience.

  • 4 Years Preferred Technical Experience.

  • 1 Year Required Leadership/Management Experience.

  • 5 Years Preferred Leadership/ManagementExperience.
