Aerotek Laundry Worker in Evansville, Indiana

AEROTEK HIRING IMMEDIATELY: Laundry Worker

PAY/BENEFITS: $11.00-12.00/hour. A competitive benefit package including vacation time and health insurance is available with employer. Tuition reimbursement also offered! $1 raise after 90 days!

SCHEDULE/SHIFT: Day shift. Monday-Friday with every other weekend

ENVIRONMENT: Hospital setting

DUTIES:This position has responsibility for performing a variety of tasks involved in the efficient daily processing of linens

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Job Duties include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Sorts soiled linen

  • Operators ironers and folding/stacking equipment

  • Folds, stacks and stores linens

  • Loads linen exchange carts.

  • Inspects linens

  • Removes lint and patches surgical linens

  • Prepares linen bundles

  • Complies with Standards of Employee Conduct

  • Cleans work areas

  • Maintains labels on shelves and carts

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

-Highschool diploma or GED

-Customer Service skills

-Reliable transportation to and from work

-Good job tenure

-Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
