What You Will Do
As a Health Screening Specialist with St. Vincent Health-IN, you will have the opportunity to develop, markets and conducts a wide range of health and fitness screenings for corporate and community clients.
Performs testing of patients and assists with the production of patient reports.
Explains test procedures to patients and interprets clinical findings according to set guidelines.
Provides appropriate education to patients based on test results and mutual goals, including information on lifestyle changes that will promote health and wellness.
Assists with set-up and break down of health screening sites, including loading and unloading of vehicles and assisting with the maintenance, calibration and cleaning of equipment.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required
Degree in medical assisting, nursing, nutrition and/or health & wellness
CMA or LPN preferred
1+ years of wellness experience
1+ years of medical office experience
Health coaching experience preferred
Venipuncture/phlebotomy skills preferred
