Physical Therapy Assistant
Responsibilities
Provide Physical Therapy treatments to patients in the home care setting.
Focus primarily on patient treatment, patient response to treatment, quality of care, patient care education to clients and caregivers.
Participates in case conferences, summary reports, quarterly record reviews and meets with PT for general supervision.
Deliver care based on Standards of Practice for the state of practice and must be in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Associates degree from an accredited school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Currently licensed (if required) to practice in the state serviced.
One year of physical therapy experience in a clinical setting required. Home care experience preferred.
Must obtain and maintain current CPR Certification (all locations).
