Physical Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy treatments to patients in the home care setting.

• Focus primarily on patient treatment, patient response to treatment, quality of care, patient care education to clients and caregivers.

• Participates in case conferences, summary reports, quarterly record reviews and meets with PT for general supervision.

• Deliver care based on Standards of Practice for the state of practice and must be in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.

• Currently licensed (if required) to practice in the state serviced.

• One year of physical therapy experience in a clinical setting required. Home care experience preferred.

• Must obtain and maintain current CPR Certification (all locations).
