Columbus Regional Hospital - 7870 Emergency Services Technical - Full Time, Nights, 36 Posted 2018-05-28 Req # 3614 ABOUT THE POSITION: Full-time; 36/week; 7pm-7:30am; Weekend rotation The licensed paramedic is responsible for working cooperatively with the ED staff, leadership, and physicians to perform tasks as needed to provide optimum patient care.# Following established policies and procedures, the paramedic renders professional care to patients presenting themselves to the Emergency Department for treatment.# Reports directly to the Charge Nurse. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Minimum requirement of completion and certification licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Indiana or currently licensed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as a Paramedic with the ability to apply for reciprocity through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security as a Paramedic.# Indiana licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire. ACLS certification required within 6 months. CPR certification required within 30 days. PHTLS and PALS certification preferred.# ##
