Columbus Regional Hospital Director - Clinical Operations Nursing Services in Columbus, Indiana
What you need to know about the position:
Reporting to the VP of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Clinical Operations Nursing Services is responsible for operational leadership of our three Medical Surgical units, our Joint and Spine unit, our Rehabilitation Unit, our Adult Mental Health unit and our Women's and Children's Services unit.
In this role you are responsible for driving, supporting and modeling a service-oriented culture focused on employee engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence, fiscal responsibility, and the overall patient experience. This position does not provide direct patient care.
This position will require you to work primarily Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm but may require hours outside these times to meet the needs of our patients, operations and employees. *There is an on-call Director rotation associated with this position.
The Director of Clinical Operations Nursing Services is a salaried position with a starting annualized salary of $105,892 and is commensurate with experience.
What is required for this position:
Upon hire you must have:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Bachelor's Degree in non Nursing field requires a Masters Degree in Nursing).
Indiana License or a Multi-State Compact License as a Registered Nurse.
At least 5 years of current nursing leadership experience.
Masters Degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare discipline preferred.
Director level leadership experience in an acute care facility preferred.
This position is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to sit, occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms and must occasional lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
