Union Hospital SUPERVISOR-ADMINISTRATIVE UHC-UHC NURSING ADMINISTRATION in CLINTON, Indiana

he Registered Nurse Administrative Supervisor will serve as on-sight leadership in overseeing the clinical and non-clinical operations for the facility in the absence the direct Director/Supervisor. Those times are most common the evening/night, weekends, and holiday scheduling.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensures appropriateness and cost-effective utilization of workforce resources

  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication skills to patients, families and workforce

  • Serves as a clinical resource for nursing staff and ancillary personnel

  • Serves as a clinical leader/resource to address hospital wide issues and events

  • Coordinates response to emergent/urgent situations for the operational status of the Facility/Organization

  • Assists Senior Leadership during designated hours/days of week with media calls and intervenes for patients and families with concerns requiring immediate attention

Position Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

  • Prefer a minimum of a BSN in Nursing'

  • Current RN Licensure by the State of Indiana

  • Possess strong critical thinking and decision making skills

  • Able to efficiently multi-task and prioritize the care of the patient groups

  • Must be BLS/ACLS/PALS certified
