Indiana University Health Director-Clinical Operations - Women's and Children's Services in Bloomington, Indiana
The Director of Women’s and Children’s Services will be responsible for the administrative leadership to the multi-disciplinary care center with an emphasis on quality management and enhanced customer service. This leader is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care and is accountable for the initiation and completion of business and unit plans that ensure quality while utilizing available resources efficiently. This position is accountable for alignment of the care center vision with the organization mission, values and excellence goals (people, service, financial, clinical). May be responsible for 24-hour accountability.

Leading a team of 3 experienced Managers
Overseeing Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother & Baby and Pediatrics
Communicating with cross-functional teams to assure successful functioning of all departments within the guidelines established by Hospital administration
Bachelors degree required. Masters of Nursing or related field is required or actively enrolled. Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program required.
7+ years of relevant experience in perinatal care and care of patients at high risk.
Current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
Clinical Specialty Professional Certification required or must be obtained within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
Nursing Leadership Certification strongly preferred.
Basic Life Support Certification through the AHA required.
Reports to: Associate Chief Nursing Officer
Direct reports: 3 manager level
